ASG Offers Eco-Friendly ‘Micro-Trenching’ On Cable Installs
Written by Think Studio on March 28, 2019
Did you know that conventional trenching can be quite costly and be an eyesore for nearby residents? Trenching techniques typically include ripping up a road or sidewalk before laying cables, and the procedure, along with the road restoration, can really add up. It also has a deep impact on the community/environment. Unlike that method, our team often uses “micro- trenching,” an environmentally-friendly process that allows experts to install cable by creating a narrow and shallow trench on an asphalt roadway. This is one of the less-disruptive installation methods being utilized by contractors to bring fiber networks to consumers, and we are pleased to offer it!
